Getting help

How to reach us, what support covers, and what to send so we can help quickly.

Use the Manifest support form, or write to [email protected]. We reply within one business day, usually the same day, and the form emails you to confirm it arrived.

What support covers

  • Questions about the theme's settings, sections and blocks.
  • Anything that does not work as these articles describe.
  • Help with the theme's layout on your own content: long names, many options, missing photos.
  • Fixes in theme updates for problems we confirm.

What it does not cover

  • Changes to the theme's code, or problems caused by edited code. Keep a copy of the original theme before editing code.
  • Apps, which are supported by their makers. We will tell you if the theme is at fault.
  • Shopify settings outside the theme, such as payments, shipping and domains, which Shopify Support can help with.

Send with your message

  • Your store's address (your-store.myshopify.com) and the theme's version (Online Store → Themes → … → the version under the theme name).
  • The page where it happens, and on which device and browser.
  • A screenshot or short screen recording.

How the theme is built

  • Accessible: written to WCAG 2.2 AA. Every starter color pair passes contrast checks, everything works with a keyboard, and motion stops for visitors who ask for less.
  • Fast: no jQuery or front-end framework; scripts wait until the page has drawn, the main picture loads first, and other pictures load as they come into view. Small pictures, such as icons, avatars and logos, load at the size they show.
  • Checked: every release passes Shopify's Theme Check with no errors, and is tested on phones and desktops in the theme editor and on a live store.
  • Standard: Shopify's own features (swatches, category details, disclosures, combined listings, subscriptions, storefront events) work without apps or code where Shopify allows it.

Updates

Theme updates arrive through Shopify. When one is ready, Online Store → Themes offers to add the new version; your settings carry over, and your current theme stays in place until you publish the update.
