Building an About page
Put together an About page from Manifest's storytelling sections: a manifesto, chapters, the numbers that matter and the people behind the shop.

The demo's About page is built entirely from sections you can add to any page. Manifest includes an about page template ready to use: in Online Store → Pages, open your About page and choose about under Theme template.
A running order that works

- Hero: one strong photograph, a short heading and a line on why the shop exists.
- Statement: two lines at display size, such as what others do and what you do instead.
- Page tabs: a sticky bar that jumps between the chapters below.
- Story chapters: one idea each, alternating which side the photograph sits and, now and then, the color scheme.
- Numbers: the few figures that prove what you say.
- Team: the people behind the shop, each opening their profile.
- Journal: your latest articles, for readers who want more.
Numbers
Up to six figures, each large with a label and a line beneath, separated by fine rules. Screen readers hear the label before the figure, so each one makes sense on its own. Add one Number block per figure.
- Heading: optional, such as A small shop, by design.
- Number: a short figure, such as 48, 30+ or 98%. Anything before or after the number, such as $, % or +, stays as you wrote it.
- Label: what it counts, such as Products on the shelf.
- Text: one line of context.
- Number size (Small, Medium or Large) and Columns on phones (1 or 2).
- Color scheme: a soft gray or stone band sets the figures apart.
Count up
With Count up on, each figure counts up from zero the first time it scrolls into view. To turn it off, select the Numbers section in the theme editor and turn off Count up. Count speed (0.5 to 4 seconds) sets how long the count takes.
In the theme editor the figures show without counting, so you can check them. They also show without counting when Use animations is off in Theme settings, or when a visitor asks their device for reduced motion.
Tuck under the section above

Turn on Tuck under the section above to slide the Numbers band up behind the section before it, such as a hero. The section above gets rounded bottom corners, whatever your Corner radius, and they sit on the band's color. It works best when Numbers has a different Color scheme from the section above.
Make it flow
- Give Story, Team and FAQ sections an Anchor, and add a tab with the same anchor to Page tabs.
- Alternate color schemes to mark a change of subject, but keep neighboring bands distinct.
- Keep each chapter to a heading, two short paragraphs and one photograph.
