Product finder

Add the Product finder section to any page. Shoppers answer one question at a time, with a progress line beside them, then see the products that fit best as your usual product cards, ready for quick add. They can go back a question or start again.

Set it up

1. Add a section, and choose Product finder. It starts with two example questions.
2. Under Products to suggest, choose a collection, or leave it empty to suggest from all products. Products to choose from sets how many of them the finder considers (up to 50).
3. Open each Question block. Write the question, then up to four answers. Each answer can have a picture.
4. For each answer, fill in Matches: words separated by commas. A product fits the answer when one of the words is one of its tags, its product type, or the handle of a collection it's in.
5. Set how many products to show at the end, and the heading above them.

How products are picked

A product scores a point for each answer it fits. The highest scores are shown, in the collection's order when they tie. If nothing fits every answer, the finder shows the first products of the collection and says so, so a shopper never reaches an empty page.
