Sidekick prompt library for Manifest
Ready-made prompts for building a Manifest store, grouped by job. Copy one, change the words to yours, check what Sidekick did, and save.
Each prompt says where to use it. Words in capitals, such as PRODUCT, are for you to change. Sidekick fills in and you save: read the purple fields before you click Save. In the theme editor, three habits matter most: say "the theme's … section", click what you mean first, and save a new section before asking for its blocks. See Customize Manifest with Sidekick in the theme editor.
Get started
Walk me through Manifest's Theme settings one group at a time, and tell me what each one changes.
Use the font PRIMARY FONT for everything and DISPLAY FONT for large headings. Set Heading weight to Medium.
Set up color scheme 1 with a background of COLOR and text of COLOR, and color scheme 2 as a darker version of it for contrast bands. Keep text easy to read.
Home page
Add the theme's own sections in this order under the hero: Collection tiles, Featured collection, Editorial, Testimonials, FAQ. Don't generate code.
Then click Save before asking for blocks inside them.
In this slide, set the heading to 'HEADING' and the button to 'BUTTON TEXT' linking to the COLLECTION collection.
Add the theme's Scrolling text section under the hero, on color scheme 2. Don't generate code.
Save, click one of its lines, and ask: "Set this line to 'LINE ONE'."
Add two more Question blocks to this FAQ section.
Then click each new question and ask: "Set this question to 'QUESTION' and the answer to 'ANSWER'." Use your real policies.
Product pages
Add a Product details block under the description.
Then, with it selected: "Set the heading to 'What's in it' and the layout to Rounded tags."
In this block, tick Add dietary preferences, Add certifications and Add allergens.
Move the Trust badges block under the buy buttons and set its lines to Free delivery over $50, 365-day returns and Secure checkout.
Products and details
Write a subtitle for this product in under 70 characters and put it in the Product subtitle field.
Rewrite this description in short paragraphs: what it is, who it's for, how to use it. Keep every fact, and don't invent any.
Add the badge BADGE to the Badges metafield on every product in the COLLECTION collection, but only if it isn't already there.
Fill in the Add definition form for a product field called Specs, type Single line text, as a list of values.
Team and about
Create a page called NAME that uses the profile template, with two short paragraphs about NAME, our ROLE, in a warm, plain voice.
Then add the Portrait, Role, Introduction and Picks fields yourself, and set the page to Visible.
Add the theme's Statement section and then its Story section. Don't generate code.
Then click each one and ask Sidekick to set its words.
New blocks
Three columns side by side: REASON ONE, REASON TWO, REASON THREE. Each has a simple line icon, a short heading and one line of text. Use the theme's fonts, colors and button styles, and stack the columns on phones.
Before you launch
Which of my active products have no Product subtitle, no category, no description, or fewer than three photos?
Check my store is ready to launch: payments, shipping, policies, domain and the theme. List what's missing.
