Shoppable video
Short upright videos in a row, each with the product it shows, ready to add to the cart.
The Shoppable video section shows short videos side by side, like stories. Under each is the product in it, with its price and the quick add button. On a phone the row scrolls sideways; on larger screens arrows move it along.
Add videos
- Upload your videos in Shopify under Content → Files. Upright (9:16) clips of a few seconds work best.
- Add the Shoppable video section, and open each Video block.
- Choose the video and the product it shows. Add a caption if you like; it sits over the bottom of the video.
How they play
- A video plays silently on a loop while it's on screen, and stops when scrolled away, so only what a shopper sees uses their data.
- Each video has a pause button and a sound button. Turning on sound for one turns it off for the others.
- Visitors who ask their device for reduced motion see the first frame until they press play.
