Products and collections
Comparison table
Compare up to four products side by side, or your shop against others, with rows filled from product metafields or typed in.
WhereAdd section → Comparison table. Add a Row block for each thing you compare.
Add section → Comparison table. Pick 2–4 products under Products; each gets a column with its photo, price and a button. Then add a Row block for each thing you compare.
Rows
- Label: what the row compares, such as Pack size.
- Where the values come from: Type them in, or Product metafield. For a metafield, type its namespace and key, such as custom.pack_size, or shopify.dietary-preferences for a category detail. See Show different details on each product. For category details, see Product details with no setup.
- Typed values fill columns in order: Value for column 1 to 4. They also fill in when a product has no value in the metafield.
- Show Yes and No as icons: typing Yes or No shows a tick or a cross.
Us vs. others
Leave Products empty and type Column headings instead, such as Us and Typical brands, then fill each row by hand. Or choose one product and add a second column heading for the comparison.
Section settings
- Highlight the first column, Show product image, Show price.
- Button: Add to cart, View product, or none. Products with options open quick view.
- On phones the table scrolls sideways with the row labels kept in view.
TipKeep claims factual and specific. Comparisons with other brands should be ones you can back up.
