What doTask connects to
This page lists only integrations that exist in doTask today. Each one says what it does, how to set it up, and where the full help article is. Messaging channels land in one inbox. Knowledge and store connections feed the AI Agent. The API and webhooks connect everything else.
Channels
Your own WhatsApp Business number, connected through Meta. Messages land in the inbox, the AI Agent answers, and bookings, reminders and broadcasts go out on the same number. On WhatsApp, choices arrive as buttons. doTask keeps Meta's rules for you: the 24-hour window, approved templates, consent before marketing, and STOP.
Set up: Settings → WhatsApp → Start. Sign in with Facebook in the Meta window, choose or create the WhatsApp Business account, and add the number. A number already on the WhatsApp Business app can stay there (Meta calls this Coexistence).
Meta bills its message charges to your own WhatsApp Business Account. doTask adds nothing.
Read the guide →Direct messages to your Instagram professional account arrive in the inbox and replies go back as DMs. A reply you send from the Instagram app counts as a takeover. Flows → Social replies can answer a DM keyword and ask for an email address or a WhatsApp number.
Set up: Settings → Instagram → Connect. Sign in with the business or creator account and allow the permissions Meta asks for.
Read the guide →Facebook Messenger
Messages to your Facebook Page land in the inbox. The AI Agent answers with the same knowledge and rules. A reply from the Page inbox or Meta Business Suite hands the conversation to you.
Set up: Settings → Facebook Messenger → Connect a Facebook Page. Sign in with the account that manages the Page and pick the Page.
Read the guide →Website chat widget
A chat bubble on your site, or a hosted chat page. It also shows sign-up forms, surveys and banners. It works on WordPress, Wix, Squarespace, Webflow or through Google Tag Manager. On a Shopify store it is an app embed.
Set up: Settings → Channels → Installation. Copy the script tag and paste it before </body>, or use the hosted chat page link. On Shopify, switch on the doTask app embed in the theme editor.
All plans. The Free plan shows “Powered by doTask” on the widget.
Read the guide →A connected mailbox turns incoming email into tickets in the inbox. The AI Agent reads each email with the same knowledge and handoff rules as chat. By default it drafts a reply for your team; it can also answer on its own, or be switched off.
Set up: Settings → Email connects the mailbox. Choose how the AI Agent handles email under AI Agent → Channels → Emails.
Read the guide →Website contact form
A contact form on your own site can send its messages to the inbox. Each message becomes a ticket, the sender becomes a contact, and your reply goes to them by email.
Set up: Point the form at the contact-form endpoint with your website chat key from Settings → Channels → Installation.
Read the guide →SMS (Twilio, Vonage or any gateway)
Text messages go out through your own SMS provider account, so you keep your rate and sender ID. STOP and BERHENTI opt a person out at once. Replies can land in the inbox.
Set up: Settings → SMS. Enter the provider account, the sender and the key. Point your provider's inbound webhook at the URL on that page.
Your SMS provider bills you directly.
Read the guide →Browser notifications
Customers turn on notifications from your chat page or the customer portal. A broadcast then reaches them with the tab closed, at no per-message cost.
Set up: Nothing to connect. Send one from Broadcasts → New → Notification.

Shopify
Install doTask Chatbot from the Shopify App Store. The widget becomes an app embed. The AI Agent searches products, prices and stock live and reads your store policies. Once the store grants order access, it looks up an order by number and email. Shopify also powers personal discount codes, email revenue credit, loyalty points, and booking payments through your own checkout.
Set up: Install from apps.shopify.com/dotask-chatbot, then switch on the app embed from Settings → Channels → Installation → Open theme editor.
Installed from the Shopify App Store, plans are bought on Shopify and billed on your Shopify invoice in USD.
Read the guide →Google Sheets
Your product catalogue and your order list as sheets, re-read every hour. The AI Agent answers product, price, stock and order-status questions from them. Built for stores that are not on Shopify.
Set up: AI Agent → Knowledge → Products (or Orders) and link the sheet.
Read the guide →WooCommerce, Wix, Squarespace or a POS
There is no direct connection. Export products and orders as CSV and upload them, or publish them as a Google Sheet. The AI Agent then answers product, price, stock and order questions from them.
Set up: AI Agent → Knowledge → Products → upload a CSV. Columns are matched by name: Name, SKU, Price, Stock, Category, Description, Link, Image.
Read the guide →Stripe
Take a deposit or the full price when a customer books. The money goes to your own Stripe account. The slot is held for 30 minutes as “Awaiting payment”, then confirmed once paid.
Set up: Settings → Payments → Connect Stripe. Then set Payment on each service under Bookings → Services.
Online bookings need the Starter plan or above. Not offered to Shopify stores, which take booking payments through their own checkout.
Read the guide →Knowledge
Notion
Pages you share with a read-only Notion integration become knowledge the AI Agent answers from. Sub-pages are included. Pages are re-read every week.
Set up: Create an internal integration at notion.so/profile/integrations, paste its secret under AI Agent → Knowledge → Data sources → Notion, and share each page with it.
Read the guide →Google Docs
A document shared by link becomes a knowledge source, re-read every week. No Google account is connected.
Set up: Share the document as “Anyone with the link” (Viewer) and paste the link under AI Agent → Knowledge → Data sources.
Read the guide →Zendesk help centre
Import a public Zendesk help centre as knowledge, article by article.
Set up: Add it under AI Agent → Knowledge → Data sources.
Calendar
Google Calendar
Two-way sync per team member or room. Bookings appear in their Google Calendar, and busy times in Google block those times in doTask, so customers are not offered them.
Set up: Bookings → Resources → the Google Calendar column → Connect Google. Sign in with the calendar to use.
Online bookings need the Starter plan or above.
Read the guide →Developers
doTask API (dotaskAPI)
A REST API with an OpenAPI specification. Create or update contacts, send events (orders, checkouts, bookings) that start email automations, keep order status current for the AI Agent, attach your own records to a contact, and post locations for location messages.
Set up: Settings → Developers → dotaskAPI. Create a key with the scope you need; the page shows copy-ready example calls.
Read the guide →Webhooks
Signed POSTs to your endpoints when something happens: a message received or sent, a handoff, a conversation closed, a new ticket, a satisfaction rating, or a booking created, moved or cancelled. Each delivery is listed with its status.
Set up: Settings → Developers → Webhooks. Add your endpoint URL and tick the events to send.
Read the guide →Zapier and Make
There is no dedicated app. Signed webhooks for every event and an API key for reads and writes connect anything Zapier or Make can reach.
Set up: Use a webhook trigger in Zapier or Make and add its URL under Settings → Developers.
Read the guide →Actions: your own API calls
Let the AI Agent call an API during a chat, with inputs it learns from the customer. Anything that changes something waits for the customer's clear yes. Templates exist for Calendly, Klaviyo, Mailchimp, HubSpot and your own order or booking system.
Set up: AI Agent → Behavior → Actions. Pick a template or enter the URL, method, headers and body, then press Test.
Read the guide →Marketing and analytics
Google Analytics and Tag Manager
Flow events are pushed to Google Analytics or Tag Manager when either is on the page.
Set up: Nothing to connect if the tag is already on your site. Site events are set under Settings → Tracking.
Read the guide →Meta and Google Ads audiences
Download any segment as a Meta Custom Audience or a Google Ads Customer Match list. Emails, phones and names are hashed before the file is made. By default only people who agreed to marketing are included. This is a file you upload, not a live sync.
Set up: Customers → a segment → Show ads to this segment. Upload the file in your ad account. Owners and admins only.
Read the guide →Questions
Do I need a new WhatsApp number?
No. You connect the number you already have through Meta's own sign-in. If it is on the WhatsApp Business app, you can keep using the app alongside doTask. The number and the account stay yours.
Who pays for WhatsApp messages?
Meta bills your own WhatsApp Business Account per delivered message: templates you start, such as reminders and broadcasts, and from 1 October 2026 replies too, after 1,000 free a month per number. doTask never sees your card and adds nothing. See WhatsApp API pricing in Malaysia.
My shop is not on Shopify. Can the AI Agent still answer product and order questions?
Yes. Link a Google Sheet or upload a CSV under AI Agent → Knowledge → Products and Orders. A shop you built yourself can send orders through the API instead.
Is there a HubSpot or Mailchimp integration?
Not as a built-in connection. There are Action templates for HubSpot, Mailchimp, Klaviyo and Calendly that let the AI Agent call their APIs. Signed webhooks and the API connect other tools, including through Zapier or Make.
Will more integrations be added?
They appear on this page as they are built, not before.
