Pricing

doTask's paid plans are RM 129, RM 299 and RM 599 a month, with a free plan below them. There is no contract.

WATI's Growth plan is RM 399 a month on monthly billing, and less per month on a yearly bill. WATI also has a Single User pay-as-you-go plan for businesses that only send campaigns, priced in Indian rupees on the pricing page.

WhatsApp message fees

With doTask, you connect your own WhatsApp Business account through Meta's sign-up and Meta bills you directly. doTask adds nothing to Meta's charges.

WATI charges messages from a credit balance, based on its own rate card. The pricing page does not say how that compares with Meta's list price. Note that Meta has announced per-message charges for service messages from October 1, 2026.

Where WATI is stronger

WATI has deep WhatsApp campaign tooling: broadcasts at volume, Click-to-WhatsApp ad tracking and WhatsApp calling. It also offers TikTok in the inbox and a Business plan with multiple numbers, phone masking and Salesforce.

Where doTask is different

doTask's AI Agent is part of every plan. It answers from your own pages, files and products, and hands over to a person. Bookings, a help centre and email marketing sit beside the inbox.

In doTask, yes, on every plan including Free. In WATI, each plan includes AI Co-pilot credits, and Astra AI Agents are sold as an add-on.

Can I keep the WhatsApp Business app?

Yes, on both. Meta calls this Coexistence.
