Pricing
ManyChat counts active contacts: anyone who sends or receives a message through it in the month. Lower plans also limit how many channels you can connect.
doTask counts AI conversations. Channels are not limited by plan, and people your team answers by hand do not count against the AI cap.
Where ManyChat is stronger
ManyChat is built for Instagram growth. Comment-to-DM automations, lead magnets and templates are its core. It also covers TikTok and Telegram, which doTask does not.
doTask can reply to Instagram DMs that contain a code word and collect an email or WhatsApp number. Rules that answer comments under your posts are written in doTask but marked Coming soon until Meta grants the permission.
Where doTask is different
doTask is a shared inbox first. A team can assign, note and take over conversations, and the AI Agent answers from your own pages, files and products. Bookings, a help centre and email marketing sit beside it.
