Shopify products in Menu and prices
With a Shopify store connected, your products fill the Products tab by themselves and stay up to date: one item per variant, name and price from Shopify.

When your workspace has a Shopify store connected, Settings › Sales › Menu and prices › Products fills from the store by itself. Every active product is an item, one per variant: a product with sizes or colours is listed as “Product · Variant” (Tee · Large), a product with one variant under its own name. Each carries a small From Shopify marker.
- Name, price, picture and stock come from Shopify. Change the name or price in Shopify (the item’s Edit in Shopify link opens it there); doTask follows within minutes.
- Section, folder, cost and Active / Not active are yours. A new item starts in a section named after its product type, or its first collection when it has no type; move it wherever you like and it stays there.
- A product deleted, archived or set to draft in Shopify becomes Not active here with a “Removed in Shopify” note. It is never deleted, because it may have sales; make it active again in Shopify and it comes back.
- Products you had already linked to Shopify by hand (from an import) are left exactly as they are and never added a second time.
It keeps up by itself: on every product change in Shopify, and a full check every six hours. The line above the Products list says when it last synced; Sync now does it at once. “Add new Shopify products to the counter automatically” (on by default) decides whether a product newly added in Shopify starts Active at Checkout; turn it off and new ones arrive Not active until you switch them on.
What it does not do
Selling a Shopify product at the doTask counter does not change your Shopify stock or create a Shopify order. Count those sales in Shopify yourself for now if you keep stock there. Stock shown under an item is Shopify’s own figure, only for products Shopify tracks.
