Loyalty: points, tiers and rewards

Points for every order, a tier to reach, and rewards to spend them on — shown to the customer in the portal.

Settings → Loyalty. Say what a point is worth (so many for every 1 spent), whether there is a welcome bonus, the tiers people reach, and what they can spend points on. Points are awarded automatically when an order arrives from your Shopify store — once per order however many times the store sends it — and the whole ledger is kept, so a customer can be shown exactly where every point came from.

What customers see: their balance, the tier they are on and its perk, how far the next one is, the rewards they can afford, and the list of every award. It is under Rewards in the customer portal, once “Show their points” is ticked under Settings → Customer portal. The Orders tab beside it shows their orders — from your store, or from the order list under AI Agent → Knowledge → Orders — with tracking when you have it, and a few products they have not bought.

Spending is deliberately by hand for now: a customer asks for a reward in a message or the chat, you apply it and take the points off from their page under Customers. That keeps you in the loop on anything worth money. Linking an offer to a reward is a note to yourselves about which code to give (Email → Offers).

Adjusting by hand: on a customer’s page, add or take away points with a reason — a goodwill gesture, a correction after a refund, a reward you applied. Corrections are new entries rather than edits, so the history stays honest.
