The counter’s money: what came in by method, who did what, and each stylist’s commission under your bands.

Takings, Sales by staff and Commission are under Sales (the rail) once Checkout is on. All three read completed sales only; a voided sale drops out.

Takings: money in by payment method for a day or a range. Credit spent is shown on its own and is not money in: it was paid when it was topped up. A credit top-up is money in, owed back as services. Payments taken on client accounts and invoices are not counter sales; Takings says how much came in that way too, and Money adds every source together.

Sales by staff: each stylist’s lines, what was charged, and their share of each service (a service shared half and half counts half for each). Lines that name nobody count for nobody.

Commission: a stylist’s month reaches a band by what counts toward it, and pays that band’s rate. By default the whole month is paid at the band reached; stepped pays each rate only on the part inside its band, and the other way is always shown beside it so the difference is seen before anyone is paid. Choose whether package sessions and products count. Lock a month once it is paid: it is frozen, and a later change to the rules never rewrites it. Owners and admins only.
