Getting started
Read it in the appThe same article opens from Help inside app.dotask.io, beside the screen it describes.

Help → What’s new lists what changed in doTask, newest first, with where to switch each thing on; the ? in the top bar shows a dot until you have opened it. A change to how you work or what you pay also appears once as a small card in the corner of the dashboard, and changes that are coming are listed under Coming soon with their date, before they happen.

  • The rail on the left holds the main screens. On a phone it becomes the bar at the bottom.
  • Most screens have a second column (folders, sections). The panel icon in its header hides it, the icon beside the page title brings it back, and dragging its edge makes it wider or narrower; on narrow screens it becomes a strip of links.
  • Press ⌘K (Ctrl K on Windows) for the command palette: jump to any screen or conversation.
  • The ? in the top bar opens this help center, a tour of the current screen, or doTask AI.
